Uni Work - Year 2
Had to create an illustration of an astronomer thinking about working together. I used it as an excuse to draw a spaceship and it's crew. 

I also fell in love with Molotow pens.

Final Piece for 19+1, 19 Jockeys and 1 Horse.

Audience is children. Thought of it as a kind of 'spot the odd one out' page of a picture book, maybe.

This is my final idea for 19 jockeys and 1 horse.

Going to now decide how to colour them...
Then I'll draw it out much bigger than this.

Finished Bremen Work and Newish Uke

First of all, I got this about a month ago and didn't really think to mention it on here! But yes, it's my shiny new purple ukulele and I love it. It makes me strangely happy to play it (when I say 'play it', I'm not that good, I can just play a couple of songs so far and know the basics).
You will also notice my cat. She has taken to stealing my bed this month, so I have to listen to her snoring all the time, which admittedly is quite cute. 

And here are my final inky Bremen picture book pieces!

Quite happy with them but..I'm never 100% happy...

Well I tried this out today. And I hate it. And I also have no idea how to print it. So I'm going back to the drawing board (literally) and doing it traditionally. It may result in me killing myself.

Super Power Family Comic Strips

Cat and Dog. Genetic Engineering.

My idea for our new project is to draw a hybrid cat/dog thing. I like the initial drawing I've done but i'm not sure what to do with it. 

I tried it with newspaper and brown themed colours.

And then below I tried to make it a bit more modern XD Excuse the badly painted background. 

I'm not sure which path to take...

Any ideas?

It was too big to scan so I've just made do with my webcam. 

I think I've included all 10 items and followed the brief. D:

Kitty and Bear - The Middle Of Nowhere

Just thought I'd show how I did my kitty and bear piece as I re-did it today. First attempt went wrong when I smudged ink on it but that can just be my client visual... :p

First I measured the paper up so my tree could be in the middle.

 Masking tape to stop the ink running too far.

Painted the trunk.

Then made a puddle of ink at the top and blew! XD

Drew the ?'s on. You can see the smudges at the bottom of the trunk so I started again from scratch.

Final, final piece. I think I'm done with this project now apart from I did hardly any research so I'll need to do that to get my marks up.

Holly's Antics

Went to sit out with Holly for a bit today because it was super sunny and she likes company whilst bird watching. 

Then she decided to sprawl out under the exact chair I was sat on so I couldn't actually move. Carefully got out and took some pictures. This is becoming a regular habit.
